You can explore the features available to you and let our team assist with finding you the right truck.
Advanced Driver-Assist Features
BlueCruise is an available system that uses radar and a driver-facing camera to allow for hands-free driving on Hands-free Blue Zones. Over time, your F-150 Lightning learns from your driving habits and destinations to help provide you with an accurate driving range. When you choose between different drive modes, the 12-inch digital productivity screen will adapt to help you handle different road and weather conditions.
Ford Intelligent Backup Power
You can equip your Ford F-150 Lightning with the Ford Intelligent Backup Power system that works alongside the 80-amp Ford Charge Station Pro. In case of a power outage, you can connect your F-150 Lightning to your home to provide up to 9.6kW of peak energy. On a full charge, you can power your home for up to three days. With power rationing, you can even get up to 10-days of power.
The standard-range battery on the F-150 Lightning provides you with up to 230 miles of range. You can grab the extended range battery to get up to 300 miles of range for an impressive amount of performance.
Impressive Performance Features of the New Ford Truck
With the F-150 Lightning, you have a standard 4x4 system that draws power from two electric motors. Utilizing these electric motors gives you almost instant access to the torque the system delivers to individual wheels for added traction. The F-150 excels in durability, whether you use it on the job site or off-road. The battery pack stays protected by an external structure that helps protect the battery without taking away from the interior or bed space.
To help you handle uneven terrain, the independent rear suspension helps provide you with a smooth ride while also coming built to last. Ford designed the F-150 Lighting to get up to 2,000 pounds of maximum payload on the standard-range battery while also being capable of towing up to 10,000 pounds. The extended-range F-150 Lightning provides you with up to 563 horsepower and up to 775 pound-feet of torque. Thanks to the two electric motors, you can go from 0-60 mph in as little as four seconds.
New Ford F-150 Lightning Offers Cargo Versatility
Since the F-150 Lightning forgoes a gas engine, you have a large front trunk that can hold up to 14.1 cubic feet of cargo space. The front trunk can handle up to 400 pounds of payload for added versatility. Ford engineers designed the trunk to be easy to clean with a washable and drainable compartment. When you need to use it for a grocery run, there's a cargo net, grocery hooks, and a divider for added convenience.
Latest Technology Features in the New Lightning
You can equip the F-150 Lightning with a large 15.5-inch portrait touchscreen powered by the SYNC® 4A infotainment system. The Lariat and Platinum models come standard with this large screen and improved voice recognition features to control the system without taking your eyes off the road. You can get customized directions that consider what you're towing or hauling to optimize your route.
The 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning also comes with over-the-air software updates that help make sure that you're using the latest upgrades. Software changes can even enhance the capability of your F-150 Lightning and help make the features more convenient over time.
